Greetings, fellow players and devs, I just remembered how much fun I had playing the game before university started taking up most of my time. And I can say that I have missed you all.

But I tried remembering my login details for something else, something that was on my mind for all these years - I am sorry that I was that cringy kid back in 2010, who had been asking for random stuff, crazy ideas that were a waste of everyone's time.

I remember the days I bugged Geever and Destructavator all the time, among many others, I sincerely apologize.

A word to Destructavator, even though he might not appear to read this - thank you. You have inspired me to play the guitar, to try to improvise when playing. I have also not forgotten the song you wrote, it's ringing in my head to this day.

And now I'll take the back seat and keep quiet, launch the game like many times before, and just enjoy it.

Hi, i'm getting that phone this monday, so i'm thinking if you could release a version for 240x320 screen and 256MB RAM. Alternatively, i could play the version that is on my computer (the "net.sourceforge.ufoai.apk" file, version 2.4.0.01, found on mobileapk.info).

P.S. About the link, i'm not trying to advertise. I'm just showing where i found it.

As suggested by geever, i've made plans for android version.
This is the pc version with comments how it will look on android device. It still requires work.

I usually make two bases near each other, because of safety precautions and installation savings. Now i've unlocked advanced radars and i want to rearrange my bases. So a question: how can i destroy my nearby bases?

my nokia 3120 classic
1)gets stuck at the 'set profile ending time' screen. Tried resetting, didn't work.
2)won't let me update it. The test mode prob. How to fix it manually (for free)?

Offtopic / 2 questions - for computer specialists

I have a new computer and i've put parts from the old one. They are dvd-rom and a 160gb hdd. Both eide. The new computer has only one ide port, so i've connected them both: hdd-slave, dvd-rom is set to master.
1. What to do that the hdd isn't recognized by bios when it's set to slave?
2. When set as master, why it's recognized as 33gb hdd?
The m/b is ASRock. I have a second ide cable.

The topic explains most of the rules, like having your word final. All you need to do is write 'my word is final' in your post. You can repeat your post, but only if the previous one is 3 posts away (post, 1, 2, 3, repost).

Edit: since nobody doesn't understand what i ment with this game, let me make it more clear: you have only to write the phrase *my word is final* and that's it!

i will read those later, but can you make my school map? Or i should do it? Anyways, i'd still want myself modelled as a hostage.

Please add this feature that if most of your troops dead/stunned, that the last few could still fly away alive (would be more realistic) and add support for doors (open/close). And the last thing, that aliens could kill the pilot (dropship would be taken over by aliens) and that one of the soldiers would be teached how to fly a dropship if the pilot is down.

Please reply if you can.

About the weight of nanocomposite: it weighs 120kg? In research mail it was written that carbon nanotube things weigh less than any other material (about 100 times, like instead of 120kg, it should weigh 1.2kg). Besides, it conducts electricity, and about that, i have an idea (quite frequently heard one): a lightsaber. So if you've watched sci-fi science show, you'd know.

Discussion / Recompiled 2.3 lag

I have recompiled the ufo:ai 2.3, because i wanted more bases. But now, when i press campaign, the game lags for a second and then shows the menu. During the game, there is some kind of error that makes the game to shut down. So i have to save frequently. Haven't read the log yet, but what could it be?
