2.3 actually worked but there was a problem with the sound and music, but you could at least play the game.

2.3.1 was supposed to fix that problem and a few other bugs but just fails completely  

Version 2.3 should still be available for download though.

it's resolved with 2.4 - we are using the sdl frameworks now and the problems are history with these

Cool! Is 2.4 ready for download or do I have to sit tight for a bit longer?

Does anyone have any idea when the sound issue will be resolved?
I love this game but without the sound or music its just not as entertaining.

For those of us that aren't developers is there any way around the lack of sound problem?

I love the game and thank everyone for the time they put into making it but without sound or music it spoils the enjoyment of the game.

Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Just downloaded the new update for the mac osx and love the new additions. Problem is that my ufopedia doesn't seem to work anymore! When I look at any of the entries all I get is the 3D model of the alien/weapon etc and the file name instead of the text! It's not a major problem but it does take some of the feel away from the game especially when I've just researched something new. Any ideas on how to fix this?
