Using 2.5 on Debian stable.
I have build a rocked launcher as a base building and added also a rocket launcher to its slot (sorry, I am using the German version).

But when an Ufo attacks the base nothing happens. I see no rockets or any other reaction from that rocket launcher. The base attack mission just starts.

Discussion / Re: Do I use MediKits correct?

From the 2.5 Changes

Quote
Wounds and Healing
The game now includes a proper wounding and healing mechanism. Soldiers will get wounded and bleed out each turn based on how wounded they are. A medikit is able to heal wounds, which will stop bleeding, but it will only be able to give a soldier back a very small amount of health. Soldiers are expected to recover in Hospital. Medikits are for keeping them alive until the battle ends.

I am using 2.5 and I am not sure if I use the medikits correct. On "shot" with it only heals round about 10 health points. This is nearly useless because a wounded soldier lose 4 or more points each round.

Do I make somethink wrong?

Bugs in stable version (2.5) / Re: video settings not persistent

The intel hack was the point. Thank you.

When you have an bug tracker why you have a bug-group in the forum?

Discussion / Don't know why I lost the whole game
« on: December 29, 2018, 02:15:29 am »
I am using Ufoai 2.5 from Debian stable repository.

On 31th August 2084 I got game over and I don't know why. Only Africa surrendered and cut the funding. The battles are hard with lots of death people but I won them. What could it be? I can't see something in the statistics about it.

The game over text told me about to many death civilist. Is there a intern counter for this taking effect? I can't see it on the statistic.

But I don't see a way to protect civilits. I am also not able to protect my own soldiers! ;)

Bugs in stable version (2.5) / video settings not persistent
« on: December 29, 2018, 02:11:47 am »
I am using ufoai 2.5 from the Debian stable repository.

Ufoai does forget some of the advanced video settings e.g. texture, opengl and lights. I couldn't find an existing bug report about that.

When starting Ufoai the advanced video settings are:
Texture resolution "normal", "bilinear / no antialising"
OpenGL-shaders: deactivated
Lights: middle

Then I modify the settings to:
Texture resolution: extrem
OpenGl: high quality
Light: high

This has positive effect on the current running instance. But when restart Ufoai this settings are gone.
