Mac / Re: Won't save, "file size mismatch"

Guess what everybody, I'm back trying to do this again.

Alright, so, to install it, must I compile it. OK so in order to do that, must I have the Xcode IDE tools, to do the compiling?

I looked for a download but it seems like I'd have to pay for it.  After a quick search of my comp it looks like I do not have those tools.

I'm not going to bother and "download" it because I've tried it and it never works. Something's fucked up and I dont know what. Remember, it's not that it won't play, just that it won't save. When I look for the ufoconsolog thing I cannot find it on my computer, not on your website, Destructavator.

Feel free to try and work with me on this guys.

Can you give me a hint as to how to find ufoconsole.log i can't find it on my computer. The only "beta" related things I could find were for Windows, which is no help to me because I'm using a Mac. Do I need to do compiling and all that junk when i first install.
What gets me is that it works, it just won't save.

http://yfrog.com/08picture1zgp (that's a screen shot of the message)
i don't know how to "attach the ufoconsole.log or i would. I'm not very good with computers.

let me just clarify.
when I download this it'll open the my harddrive, and the game is in the other "drive", so I just copy and paste all the game files(there's only four-five) into another folder of my desire (because that's what I've been doing) or do I need to do something different.

" Error saving game.  Size mistmatch- failed to save the game"  is the only message it gives. The game works fine and everything until i try to save.

When I used a Mac 20 years ago, I noticed it couldn't detect or handle bad sectors. One common practice was to put a file on the bad sector and never move or delete it. I have no idea if the Mac has changed much in 20 years, so maybe it's a bad sector?

Well, I'll post this message anyways. If nothing else it can be laughed at or bring back fond memories, or something...

well i dont really know what this means, but I tried reinstalling the program but nothin, still doesn't save :(
