Hello,
I m a X-com TFTD veteran and really loved X-com a lot.
However I had stopped playing computer games around 5 years ago because it became to boring. Even WoW bored me.
By googling around I recently found UFO:AI. Gave it a try. And.. I have to say.. IT ROCKED MY FACE OFF!!!
For a start, it is even MORE fun than the old TFTD, and has already TONS of great features and cool things I always wished would have had been there in the old times.
In my opinion the graphics are really MUCH cooler than I would expect from such a game, dont have to hide at all. Lots of details, cool maps, cool aliens. I played it through till the end right away and thinking now trying a harder level or giving the multiplayer function a try.
I didnt really mind that is was a bit unpolished here and there. Not a big deal.
Open Source IS great.
Many thanks to all of you who are or were involved in any way creating this GREAT project.
May God give you a gold star or two for that in heaven.
