Discussion / Weapon Skills in 2.5

I finished two full campaigns (normal and hard) on 2.4, downloaded 2.5 dev. Kind of curious why my Sniper Rifle, Coil Gun and many, many other weapons now ALL list Assault as the weapon's skill. There isn't a single weapon I can find (yet, anyway, and I've even tried multiplayer loadouts to skip to some of the later game goodies) that uses the Heavy Weapons skill, either.

Is this intentional, just a bug in the description, or what?
