Bugs in stable version (2.5) / When aliens near cursor CANNOT BE placed on them in version 2.5

Hello, Don't know if this is a bug OR not but when I try to place the cursor on aliens....the game WON'T allow it. It either makes me shoot to the side very close to the aliens & shoot OR can't get a shot. This is happening on Standard level Campaign. It's happening EVERY TIME I try campaign....smh! I have windows 7 os.

Bugs prior to release 2.4 / Crashing to desktop

I finished a mission from the campaign when the game mysteriously CRASHED to the desktop. This is right after my 18th save....don't know why this happens. This is the second time it has happened after a saved game.
I'm running a windows7 32bit OS. My gpu is an AMD Radeon ATI 4100. Monitor resolution is 1600x900. I'm running the 2.4 version of the game downloaded from Sourceforge.

Bugs in older version (2.4) / Malfunctioning grenade launcher

As you progress during a campaign in the game the grenade launcher starts to malfunction. It will fire with a shotgun sound and NO effect. Has happened repeatedly in 3 different campaign games.
