Just as a general feedback (can't find a better place to post it):  Can the default CVAR for timeouts be changed?  My son's lower-end PC runs the game just fine, but takes long enough to load everything that the default 20s timeout kicks him EVERY time.

Which isn't a big deal when it's just he and I, but it means he can't play other folks who have the default CVAR.

upgrading from previous versions not supported, first uninstall completely, then reinstall the latest version from getdeb repos. worked for me.

It could also be that they're running a version prior to 11.10.  The current version is not offered for those versions.

Which begs the question:  Is it possible to support those older versions?  I'm running 10.04, and this is one of only two programs I use that don't have a backport of some kind to allow it to run on the (still active LTS) 10.04?
