ok, now all my soldiers are completely useless -   no one can wear nanocomposite armour without penalty, and
dumb armour does not help in late game stages.

I would say that came out of sudden and pretty hard -  my soldiers are not heavy loaded (  sniper rifle - 2 grenades , 2 clips and medpack with nano armour ) and time units went from 30+ to under 20 (so no aimed shot at all, even if there is no movement involved).  Paired with random crashes and freezes it is pretty frustrating.

OK, disabling shaders on helps on laptop with sources from  2.8  can not check right now on desktop -
it is recompiling maps.

Hi  all,

Somehow battlescape went FUBAR.  I'm using current  maps ( downloaded from official location ) and current sources ( HEAD ) .  I verfifyed it on 2 boxes ( desktop with current sources,  and  laptop with state from 2.8 ).  No visible problem in logs,   just black screen or some garbled  images ( and slow )  I'm attaching savegame in question (  try terror mission  to repoduce )

Additional information:

BTW,  is there a key  to kill  battlescape on the spot?

it seems that something is missing in sources.  I did
git pull
make clean
make
make maps

And now  battlescape does not start:

Hi all,

Out of sudden actual sources ceased to start (somewhere in the middle of init process they get signal 11)
Anbody else  experiencing same problems?
