Not sure. Like, clicking on Hospital, then on Aircraft, and CTD...only I'm not certain exactly which rooms I clicked on. But generally switching between rooms in base.

Here's some bugs I found:

-Compared to previous versions I've got a lot of battle CTD's. Here's a log after the last one (though it may have saved some of the previous crashes too, because with some crashes I saw even the log doesn't save...)

-I've had several CTD's on battle loading, but they seemed to go away when I disabled shaders.

-Often in battle I get the message "XY has been wounded" at the beginning of the AI's turn, when the alien only shoots at my guy much later in the turn.

-Sometimes in battle, when someone's wounded clicking doesn't do anything. I can select soldier, select where to fire or move, but then that last click does nothing. Could be that bug reported elsewhere about AI turn not really ending.

-A few times it has happened that I've killed all the aliens but one, but then I am kicked back to worldmap with the battle never having registered, troops still fully loaded and healthy. If I click on site again to start battle again, the game will likely CTD-in mid battle.

-I got a couple random crashes just clicking around the home base screen too.

Ahh...found it. I renamed original 0models to _orig_0models, but kept it with the other pk3's in the folder, and the game still read and initialised it.

Didn't want to start a new topic so I'm just putting my question here.

I unpacked the 0models.pk3, edited the .png textures of the faces of soldiers in models/soldiers, repacked the pk3, launched the game, but the soldiers still had the same faces as before.

So...if these png's don't determine what texture a soldier's face uses, what does and what are they for then?

Don't know if the mod works with latest game updates, but I updated the game today and DL'd UFOneo to try it out, but if I launch with own bat or with selecting mod in vanilla game, whenever trying to start a new campaign I get a CTD.

Probably theyre late tech. Our Power Suit is also very bulky ;)

Still makes more sense for a heavy powered armour, than those ones that just look like they're wearing a fridge...

Looks nice, but again a bit too cartoonish for me to get totally cosy with it.

I can deffo buy these here http://ufoai.org/forum/index.php/topic,5278.msg49107.html#msg49107 (are they in game yet?), but the overbulked space marines stuff seen in the previews there are just a bit too over the top for pure joy...

Was at first interested in Silent Storm, but then the fantasy space-suit armours with machineguns for hands turned me off completely...

Personally I loved Brigade E5 (with obligatory Badass or Blood Money mod or both, dun remember anymore), and its sequel 7,62 High Calibre (with obligatory Blue Sun mod).

I on the other hand, would love to see a UFO game utilise that engine, the realistic looking guys (cartoonish design always irritates me), destructible stuff, a zillion available weapons, time speed control and a decent realtime pause system.

Could do without the many random crashes and bugs though...

Get a back-to-map mission abort whenever the mission is "Crashed UFO in oriental suburban district".

See attachments for build, event and console screenies.

Edit:
Equally not working with "Harvesting mission in oriental suburban district."
Although oddly enough it did load the mission once, but on all subsequent reloads it doesn't.

Bugs prior to release 2.4 / MtT's 2.4 buglist

Hello everyone.

First of all, many congratulations to all involved for a most addictive, nostalgic and wonderfully developped game. Apart from the few reported issues I've had very little trouble with 2.3.1, and rather smooth sailing in 2.4 as well.

I'm running the latest version + updates from here: http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php/topic,2830.675.html, on a Win7 64-bit laptop. No graphic glitches so far or any such anomalies...

But I have noticed two sorts of strange behaviour when compared to 2.3.1 where this didn't occur.

1. Switched around
Occasionally gear, names and people appear switched around in mission. I send in Mr.X, with a machine gun and Ms.Y with a pistol, in game Mr.X can appear with the female body and pistol, etc. The black guy shows a black face in the portrait, but his character has a white face, etc. It has occured before that I have fought one battle, and all were mixed up, I finished the battle, then instead of returning to base I flew straight to next mission and everything was in order and in place in the second battle. The anomaly didn't appear to belong to any specific map, as usually if I reload after crash, the same issue does not occur.

2. End-battle crash
Unlike 2.3.1 where the end of battle usually occured rather immediately after killing last alien on map, in 2.4 the following usually occurs.
I kill the last alien, then for about 15 seconds (I assume while the game is counting characters, aliens and civillians left) I can select or move my guys, then I get the "Civillian spotted!" message and battle ends. But sometimes if I as much as touch the mouse after last alien killed, the game will freeze completely and I have to ctrl-alt-del out of it. If I do not touch the mouse after killing what I assume is the last alien and count to 15, the game will not freeze or crash, but either continue due to more aliens living, or end regularly. This is practically the only crash I've encountered so far.

3. Other small bugs I noticed:
-in battle, sometimes some character's movement point blue line doesn't decrease after shooting
-in the aircraft soldier selection screen, clicking on one's tick-box sometimes regularly selects the one below (for all troops), exiting and re-entering the selection menu fixes it.
-on world map, missiles appear to fly backwards
