Bugs prior to release 2.4 / Geoscape Graphic issues
« on: April 25, 2011, 03:00:10 am »
Hello

While normally playing im getting a graphic corruption in the 3d geoscape:

The problem is persistent if i reload on same game session, but is gone if i restart the game and load the save file. After some minutes it will appear again. I cant detect any ingame actions in particular that trigger it.
If i lower the graphics options, mainly the resolution cap to normal or below, it is fixed (again restart is needed) and works properly.

As it is I can still play (with the lower resolution cap), but i wanted to know if anyone else had the same issue (i know my driver set is quite unstable but it may be something else).

If you want more information just say so.

Thanks

Hello

Just gotta say i love UFO:Ai, playing it since v 2.2 and coming back for more as i heard v 2.4 was on the works.

Im using the last version of the installer by Muton and i have a question, where are the files extracted before the install? I cancelled by mistake the install but according to the disk space some data was left behind, but there is nothing in the chosen game directory. This happened twice so i really need to know where this files are as im running out of space in the hard drive (i alrady checked Temp folder but nothing).

Thanks

Edit: Just found the file in Temp folder, but the hard drive space still seems messed. I guess something else is wrong. Thanks anyway and sorry to bring this one up.
