maybe its the same.
but my soldiers are inside the dropship.
and i only bring 3 or 4 at a time.

with this image, notice that the cursor is not a box.
i think this indicates that the cursor is on a space soldiers can't move through.

with this image, notice that the cursor is a blue box instead of the green box.
i think this indicates that the soldier cannot at this time move to that space - because it is blocked or out-of-range.

in both, notice that the cursor is actually in spaces that soldiers can move through.

hey guys! rediscovered this game.
2 things about 2.3.1:

1. key bindings. how do i change them?
i find that i keep switching between WASD and the arrow keys.
would be great if i can map the rotate maps to A and D.
that way, WASD works like a normal FPS.

2. i found that in the tropical map, the internal spaces of the ufo has some invisible barriers - specifically the area with stairs leading up to its 2nd level.
the alien couldn't get out. and the only way i knew of this was that when i stationed a soldier next to entry-way of that area, the alien shot me.
but i couldn't get into that area to fire back and so i quit the game.

3. (ok. i thought i may as well make a 3rd comment).
in the previous version, there was a key to put the camera info first-person mode.
you can see what the soldier sees.
which key is this?

Discussion / super-powered recruits too early

hey guys. great game - much better than the commercial ufo:et.

anyway in my standard games, i keep finding "super-powered" recruits (i.e. recruits with very high - 99% too 100% skills rating) in the 1st round of recruitment. (this is the time when you get your first lot of funding after start.)

is this normal? thanks, again.

just found out about this game - and i gotta tip my hat to the developers.

anyway...just one question:

is there a way to "rearrange" your team line-up? i like putting my skill-type together for ease of readying.
