Bugs in stable version (2.5) / Base defense map

Hi there,

i've just run into a bug at base defense map. It seems that installations that are two tiles wide (dropship hangar, alien containment) get partially overwritten by the next installation. The first screenshot shows the dropship hangar, which is mixed up with a interceptor hangar, the second shows half of an alien containment.
Savegame attached will encounter a base attack after ~6h.
Happend with latest nightly from May 1st.

Maybe this information helps a bit:
I've run into this error twice on my laptop (Win Vista 32Bit, Intel T4200 DualCore CPU, 4GB RAM, Intel GMA 4500 graphics), but I've never run into this on my PC (Win7, will provide hardware-specs this evening if needed). Used the same nightly on both machines.

Ok, here are the specs:
Win7 Ultimate, AMD Athlon II X2 CPU, 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon 5570 graphics card with driver version 8.911.0.0

When switching to desktop either by pressing alt+tab oder windows-key, mouse pointer is stuck in upper-left corner. After switching back to game, i can't save game anymore.
Operating system is Windows Vista SP1, 32bit. UfoAI-Version is 2.4-dev, build 1303213072 downloaded from here (dated April 19th).

Well, in that case, you could drop the entire "injured:yes"-branch, or lets say reduce it to "hide" (injured civs always try to hide).

EDIT: What about limited ammo for armed civs? Do they count as "armed", when out of ammo? If no, I'd recommend to limit ammo very strictly.

Hi,

as far as I can see, there's not much of a difference between Civ injured or not. In my oppinion, an injured civ should never go hero, except he/she is traped somewhere without any way out (or is this ment by "danger close"?). The default for injured:yes and alien visible:yes should alway be hide (IMHO).

Mapping / How to make street bends?

Hi all,

once again the "pain in the neck" has a question.  :wink:

I'd like to create a street bend for my next map. but I don't know how to do this if I don't want it to be a sharp 90° corner. I've made some experiments with street elements rotated at different angles, but I just dont't get them fit together.

Any idea?

Hi,

I've downloaded the 2.2-dev and the installer runs without any error, but the game doesn't launch. An error massage says
Code: [Select]
Prozedureinsprungpunkt "freeaddrinfo" wurde in der DLL "WS2_32.DLL" nicht gefunden

Any idea how to fix this? I couldn't find anything about this in the wiki or forum.

Ok, I'll pay attention to this.
Btw: what happened to the dropship in the svn-version of the map? The actorclips and nodraws are there, but the model itself is missing.
