Artwork / Re: Concept art

I have one idea I want to share - to make a mutants in game. Yes, it is snatched from XCom3, and you all know it - victims of alien experiments. Their number will be limited and they show themselves in very special conditions - like if you not going to the mission for too long aliens not just kill all civilians, but make a few of these guys. They can just walk around the battlefield like civilians or even fight for aliens, but once captured alive they can be healed and fight on your side. Since there is no psychic powers in the game (and no need it IMHO) main difference will be penalty for using human technologys and bonus to alien technologys of any kind. And maybe they are physicaly weaker, but naturally better shooters. In game they'll have a black eyes (make such skins is not easy but very easy), and special camo I guess, so you won't mistake them with normal soldiers.

By the way, Destructavator - if you making a new animation you have to make a tags or you can just waste your time. And it is time to think what it will be - separate helmet or IR goggles will need a new tags...

By the way, why you can't use old animation? Just asking...

The helmets and headgear could first be done separately
I don't think that's a good idea. It is waste of polygons and only make trouble (check the screenshot).
About heads I have 2 quick suggestion :
1 - take faces from old head models and mix it with this head. OR
2 - change chin size and nose form. Eyes, lips and all other can be done by skins...

and share the md2 files and skins
I can't share the skin right now, because model in the screenshot use 2 of them. And, as I understand, Destructavator will make new model. But the real thing I want to discuss: one model is not enough. Before making something we need some kind of standard in head models. Some set of models with diferent faces to make variation with helmets.

It can be more easy - mix your head model with existing one.

I really hope you'll use it until the new model will be done, so I want to say a few words about it. From the beginning I want to make an armour that look like alien-made. It is an armour, that made from alien materials and parts of their own armour. Or just alien armour itself, adapted for the human. Something like alien technologys serving humans. Never could understand, why scientists research alien technologys so hard, but making metal-plate-armour again and again...
