Continue the game one more year or so and hope that the aliens are mercy enough to let you carry on, or otherwise, you can just ignore any UFO threads and see some funny final screens.

I think you better to start the game over, since it's abnormal when you see alien-supplies flying around without alien-bases built. I guess it was a sudden shock to your computer by a hidden-alien behind your windows at the moment you were playing the game. :D
And it's not good if you don't defend the earth with efforts because aliens dominate the nations by XVI in that way.

Needless to say why the globe still remains split off when an open alien attack happened, and Phalanx still needs funding. At least in original X-Com the aliens did it secretly. TFTD is a ph-ishing game IMO.

The one-shot gears up and down is a good idea since it's always different when trying to kill and being try to kill-ed. I really understand the feeling, really.

To be honest, what I focused was just the UI/Gameplay related items only. I am not interest in some very common or nonessential entries at all since most people won't care about that except gameplay, agree?

I follow the link you provided, but I don't think I can do anything on that page since all links there are redlinks. And, that page is not where I think I should update.

I am afraid that I cannot find any link or button which adds a new template in this page. For your convenient, I think you should consider directly add one to there/the repository/svn/git etc,  since I am not considered qualificatory as a moderator/admin rightnow.
Point me the link or button if I missed.

Here I can only see zh_CN as the unique Chinese translation.   :-\

Excuse me, I think it messes me up by:
1) I cannot find the corresponding Traditional Chinese translation section in the wiki page.
2) I am afraid that it looks like hell for me to add all the translated terms on the wiki page.
3) I am seriously out of mood today for the XVI spreading event in ninex.info.  >:(

So is it all right to just forget the wiki page because the sync scripts won't update something that are not in the translation page?  ???

Don't shoot the alien-scouts down, let them land and build a base(in this case, the aliens must have enough interest before they want to build a base and the building scout disappears after landing). Then let all the alien-supplies travel without interception. Some weeks later, the nation where the alien base built will tell you the alien base location if its XVI is in a safe level, or if you don't have such patience, just send an interceptor to there oftenly. The alien base will then be shown on the geoscape and you will have an alien base research. Go on whatever you want then. Overkill the ufos will just send you into a dead loop.
