Yes i did, didn't help then. but now its updating as its supposed to, after deleting the .bin files in /var/cache/apt/ directory (something looked fishy when i saw three of them when there are usually two). installing now to test it.

yes i did, even after updating, nothing doing; but i think that might be down to my update manager acting funny, keeps telling me i have outdated updates no matter how many times i press the 'check' button to get fresh updates.

Having trouble with it as well. trying the it from palydeb results in a popup window asking which program to open it with (like the 'open with ... ' dialogue of nautilus). compiling from source results in a black screen before crashing to desktop even if I run the command as root (which results in a shorter list of errors than when i run it as regular user).

Please show me a music sample of your previous work and i can tell you if we need your composing skills. Code and artwork stuff are always heavily needed.

My musical abilities are nowhere near my art or coding ability and those are still in relatively early stages of taking off. Even if you don't mind repetitive slow hip-hop/jazz beats, I seriously doubt their fitness for consumption by any other ears but my own at this stage. Something I'd like cleared up, not being one to work on assumptions, artwork I submit can be posted up on other sites like opengameart and blendswap, right?

Yo there.

I've been a long time looking and I finally this game. Huge xcom fan, and I just sort of knew that there had to be a similar open source project around; don't know where I've been looking all this time to not have found it earlier. I code, I draw, I make music and I am OPEN SOURCE 4 LIFE!
