I was under the impression that it was now possible to safely shoot from behind another soldier, as long as he's crouched and the shooter is standing in an adjacent square? Does this apply diagonally? I successfully shot a friend in the back of his head, as in the screenshot

i think this was done with a distance check - so it might not work for diagonal grid tiles. if it only works for adjacent tiles, then please fill a bug report

This happens consistently when trying to shoot diagonally over a crouched soldier.
