Title: IR Goggles, past certain point in game, when turned on, KILL EVERYONE NEARBY

I have searched through the 'UFOpedia' as well as through the main topics and searched using the search feature in the forum, and looked through the main topics of the bugs in version 2.4, I have heard NO mention of this bug. If it is indeed a 'feature', I condemn it strongly.

Here's what happens:

1.) Past a certain point in the game, or a condition unknown
2.) Night mission, turn on IR Goggles
3.) Soldier and nearby soldiers ALL DIE INSTANTLY NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE!!

This is completely illogical! They are not in any line of fire of any aliens, and IR Goggles by their nature are passive devices, so they couldn't 'instantly' give away their location so they could be shot by some all-seeing gun.

What am I missing here?

This may be related - I find that turning on the IR goggles breaks nearby windows.

This is already fixed.
