Probably a good idea? Did a quick test - opinions? Probably someone with skills can improve the texture a bit?

Personally i like it a lot more than this grass green stuff.

I don`t like this.
At least, it is rusty, not gray-black as stiletto and phalanx armour.
-
I like the idea, but it looks like you've got some slight pink hues in there. Try toning down the red and putting in just the tiniest shades of blue and it will probably match the stiletto better.

Waht wrong with military green? I like the firebirds color scheme.

Iam not a texture artist. As i mentioned in the first thread it was just a quick test and that someone with better skills can make a better version. All i did was changin the color a bit to blue and and removed the saturation - to show off the idea.

New Phalanx stuff have a grey style and i wanted to adjust the look to the new stuff. (Look @ new armor and stiletto)

Since when does military always use just one color?
Frankly, sticking with a single style is a weakenss, as it makes you recognizable and infelxible.

How difficult would setting up several different paint jobs be?
Because having a shiny green ship in the middle of a city isn't all that much a better idea than having a shiny green trooper there.
That said, a bit overly pink, if you ask me. Not that it's a bad thing but this particular engagement isn't happening during twilight hours or in a desert.
