Title: Using high resolution geoscape textures cause a crash with master version

I know that those are not included in the master version (although I still would like to have them there  ;)), but I still would like to play the campaign using those  :'(

define crash please - and if it is a "crash", please attach a backtrace.

not really helpful - please a gdb backtrace - bulid a debug version, not a release version

This is the backtrace from gdb:

again no - this is a segfault in your ati driver
