Installation Instruction:

Just copy the pk3 file into your UFO:AI/base directory.

NICE!!!! No more blurry earth now! \o/ Probably we should also improve the stars background. The stars look a bit "blocky".(Someone minecrafted stars? ;D)

AFAIR the problem with the stars is that those are mapped on a cube & it simply does not look very nice when some 'milky way' gfx is used there...

But we should look @ improving those also, I agree 100%.

Well iam sure a improved background like this (http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/5333/mapstars.jpg) would be enough. Dont need any nebula background. ;)

Did you test this background - Here I get gfx errors when using it  ???
Maybe x & y size should be the same...

I tried it with GLSL but without postprocessing (ATI poroblems).
The night light are awesome (and if I am seeing correctly, now the desert shines under the sun) but i didn't experience any resolution improvement nor other effects (such as bump mapping). They're postprocessing, right?ù

Wait perhaps some bump mapping at the highest cliffs (himalaya) during Dawn...

You should probably check if you set the textures res to the maximum in the options

The game doesn't allow me to do so... it stays on "high"
