Title: Crash to Geoscape from Battlescape

Build: 29482

Just moving a soldier along a wall in the battlescape crashed the battle to geoscape.

From that, if you wanted me to pick the likely culprit, it would be

On the same map, one of the house components has a bug on the first floor where you can't move past a table even though there should be space between it and the wall. So to get to the stairs going up, you have to go all the way around.

I will upload a screenshot later, right now I have to go.

A screenshot would be good, but it would be even better if you added it to the bug tracker on Sourceforge (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=157793&atid=805242). That way we can track work on the problem easier. And there's a "Maps" category that helps non-coders like me focus on problems I can resolve.

Hmm, turns out it was the actor out of sync crash when I took a closer look. But there is now a tracker item for the map bug here. (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2990436&group_id=157793&atid=805242)

Okay, time to resurrect this thread. I had another crash from battlescape to geoscape that was NOT due to actor out of sync, but something else:

The game crashed when still in the loading screen for battlescape, just tossed me right back into geoscape and I guess I could have just tried to send the firebird back to the mission. It says server not reachable when it's trying to access the local machine, so is this just a bona fide crash with no discernible cause?

I have a similar situation, but in skirmish mode. Crashad from battlescape to main menu, when the actor moved on the map. rev29527\WinXPsp3

it's not similar but a completely different issue:
