I have this problem even with r24310. Perhaps it's debug error.

Muton,

Being curious, when was the last clean maps rebuilt u had ?
(Aka, /contrib/scripts/compile_maps.bat ran with the "/clean" para)

still no way in the dropship 24326
the last rebuild was the Multilevel 24309

If i rebuild bunker.map with one core only
i end up with exactely the same hashsum as on build 24309

So
a recompile won't do any good

me too
but if you use both cpus
the resulting bsp is always different

'Couse of that i compile one (bumker.map) map always with one core
and hash it against the bunker.bsp i had before
If the hash is the same a complete rebuild of all maps wont do anything
Only new or changed map files are compiled
but not all.

Ooooo, tat is interesting..... i usually just activate the compile_maps.bat batch file, let it run (in duo core mode) and leave for 2 hrs or so..... lol (tats if i need to recompile with /clean para).

Else, i would do a minimal update with clean CB rebuilt of codes always..... i am taking the effort to ensure my pk3 files are always deleted b4 the archives.bat are run.....

Back to point....

I realised that combat maps are enter-able again.
Noticeably bug are:

1) Battlescape cannot be "RETRY" when u press the ESC key and clicking it - would result in game hang and u would need to force shutdown app.

2) Battlescape can crash halfway in battle.... not much time to provide a backtrace..... but will see if there's anyone who can do the backtrace b4 i do....

Clever, but only 97% correct. Pathfinding changes may or may not affect all the maps.
Can't offer a better indicator though.
If you want to be sure, it's best to recompile the one map you had the problem with.

Yes of course. I compile UFO entirely. Also, it can be problem in save data.

O01eg,

I tried using R24322 last compiled, and it seemed like i do not have the same prob as u do.... at least not on the map i was on (tropical ufo).

Maybe u wanna try a new game (not sure when ur savegame was from which revision, i tried one from at least R23500+ and it still did not break).

I loaded previous savegame and didn't find too same problem, but it was another battle on another map.

I've build 24383
and there is still a problem with this bug

The strange thing is now
that some soldiers move on places inside the dropship
where they shouldnt be able to move to.

Can see aliens trought a wall too

Soldiers can't go neihter from dropshit nor into it.
Debug build. Revision: 24304.

Btw, u ARE running this on Windows platform are u?
32bit / 64 bit?
I.e. Win XP? Vista?

And u r using a self compiled SVN (were u from a long time ago? If so, u might need to consider doing a clean rebuilt of the maps just in case -> For windows.....
Code: [Select]
\contrib\scripts\compile_maps.bat /clean
(Notice the "/clean" para)

For the rest (mac / ubuntu / linux) i will not be so familar.... but i am sure these good folks here might help, IF u r not windows user. :P

Soldiers can't go neihter from dropshit nor into it.
Ah, this i cannot stand.....
It is dropship my dear........ P and T quite far apart on a qwerty keyboard..... lol. but i did have a good laf, considering the shit amt of work this bird is causing our programmers and players. :D
