Title: Head Cut
Post by: Silvano on January 21, 2008, 01:52:30 pm
Hello all

I have just began to play this funny game. I like it, but I have an huge problem, and a friend from mine too.

All the creatures of the game, soldiers, pedestrians and aliens, have their body moved from its real position. Then we see the head and the weapon in its real site and the rest of the body upper and to the right of where it should be.

I compiled and play in an Acer TravelMate with a Pentium M740 and an Intel900 series with Kubuntu 7.10
Another friend compiled and plays it in an Athlon 64x2 4000+ with an undetermined Ati Graphics and with Ubuntu 7.10.

Both of us have the same problem. It could be ubuntu the guilty? or it could be a more general bug? Is there any known solution?

Thank you for to the developers the heavy work,

_Silvano_

The trunk is the main development SVN repository of the game. All new additions and fixes are committed to trunk. Trunk is as opposed to branch, for example the 2.2 branch.

It seems that once my housing fills up even if my soldiers die, that housing never becomes available again.

Let me try to nail this down...

I read on the Wiki that the Living Quarters are supposed to hold 20 people including solders and the various civilians.  Is that how it's currently supposed to work?

The wiki is always right, in principle.

There is a bug in 2.2 release : a quarter can hold 25 people, except the first quarter of the first base that can hold 38 people.

But it should be 20 people per quarter (whatever base), like written in wiki.

The wiki is right in principle. The current release is right in fact. We must find why principle differs from fact.
