Title: [CLOSED] Geoscape sounds needed

We need sounds for geoscape events:
finished transfers
promotion
research finished and proposal
construction finished
production completed and so on


this is a complete list of all message types

MSG_INFO,
MSG_STANDARD,
MSG_RESEARCH_PROPOSAL,
MSG_RESEARCH_FINISHED,
MSG_CONSTRUCTION,
MSG_UFOSPOTTED,
MSG_TERRORSITE,
MSG_BASEATTACK,
MSG_TRANSFERFINISHED,
MSG_PROMOTION,
MSG_PRODUCTION,
MSG_NEWS,
MSG_DEATH,
MSG_CRASHSITE,
some of them can use the same sound - e.g. sounds/misc/newmission.wav is used for MSG_TERRORSITE, MSG_BASEATTACK, MSG_UFOSPOTTED and MSG_CRASHSITE

Hi - sorry it has been so long since my last visit.  Pretty much simultaneously with me making that promise to do those sounds, the universe was conspiring to bring about a sequence of events which unfortunately rendered me temporarily unable to fulfill that promise.

I have made 7 or 8 sounds so far, when I have the time I'll upload them to my server and give you a link for each one.

Good to know there's no hard feelings... but... I still feel bad I can't do more.  I vote for putting big rockets on the equator to slow the spin of the Earth so we can have more time to do everything :)

Hey guys....
Long time, no post. :P

Anyways, I downloaded the latest pre-built Windows package (yeah, still haven't taken time to learn how to compile from source myself..).   It was cool as could be to hear the Geoscape sounds I'd sent in actually used.

Then I listened to them.  I need to make some more to fill in the missing gaps, and a few need to be changed up as they are WAY too similar to each other.  So, I'm going to see if I can't make a complete set over the next month or so, and see what I can submit.

Just thought I'd check back in. :)

mattn havnt ask me if i could make them, so i think no
