UFO:Alien Invasion

I've encountered this bug a few times now. When inside a building it sometimes happens that a soldier gets stuck on top of a sofa or between several bits of furniture. By "getting stuck" I mean that the cursor box is blue afterwards, so you can't walk anywhere anymore. I would attach a screen shot, but I don't know where UFO:AI saved it to.

-When running Linux, screenshots are found somewhere in ~/.ufoai/[version]/scrnshots
-When running Windows, they are in (i dont know what the exact folder names are in english, but I think you'll find it) C:\documents and settings\[username]/application data\UFOAI\[version]\scrnshots . Note that 'application data' is a hidden folder with default settings.
- I think that bug is known generally but can't be dealt with overall and has to be fixed in the maps, so we would need a list of where this can happen...

Thanks, I found it (windows). Maybe the default directory for screenshots should be changed to the actual game directory. The hidden applications folder is not the most obvious place to look ;)
About the maps: I can take a look through them and make a list if you like. I will need some help there though:
1. I found that I can run any map by typing map ... in the console, but I start without soldiers. How can I get around that?
2. Is there a way I can make aliens a little less interested in my soldiers so I can explore the maps without the danger of being shot at?
Thanks

Solving two problems at once: :-)
Start a game (or load one), open console and type 'devmap [mapname]' ...
Just you, no aliens, no civilians, end of your turn=beginning of your next turn ... VERY useful for testing purposes!
A list would be great, thank you a lot! (Mattn, shout if I'm wrong ;-) )

Good, that ought to save me a few head aches :P
Another thing: can I get the co-ordinates (in map space) of the cursor anywhere? I wouldn't need to take screenshots if I can just write down the coordinates of any problems I find.
-
Hmm... no idea about that...
Maybe you could just name the place for a start (like: blue sofa, 2nd floor of main building) and only take a screenshot if it's ambiguous... should't happen too often, I guess :?:
-
Fair enough. I will see what I can do :)

please make a screenshot for every single map bug and report them via the bug tracking system at sourceforge.net http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=805242&group_id=157793&func=browse

Looks like there will be lot's more work for me after all. How shall I go about things like in city04, point 3? There are two rooms for which the bug happens, does that need two screen shots or is one sufficient?
-
The one who will fix the maps needs to know where exactly to look. That is why screenshoots are needed if you don't expect such man to check the map piece by piece to find the buggy tile.

submitted the first lot. Will do more when I have the time.
