if you wanna contribute and want to get write access to svn, the procedure is like this:

• submit a patch to patchtracker (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=157793&atid=805244)
  
• we´ll have a look at it and if it´s good and reasonable you´ll get write access to svn (http://svn.sourceforge.net/ufoai) (you can e..g pick something from the bugtracker (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=157793&atid=805242)
  

^^all you need for write access to svn is a sourceforge.net (http://sourceforge.net/account/newuser_emailverify.php) account
