Title: Sample of girls remaking some game music intros
Post by: krilain on January 16, 2013, 06:59:45 pm
Hello all,

I've found a couple of funny videos.

The first is about some twin harpist (nothing to do with *new* aliens!) - link here : http://video.day.az/view=W5RB-gr9DTU. They offer a photogenic remake of Morrowind main theme (if like me you played so much at it you will be touched). Very photogenic to say truth  ::), and artistically very correct.

The second sample is from another girly artist in a remake of Assassin's creed intro. The music is good, done by hand by a correct violonist. But the screenplay is really impressive, it reminds well the model, and moreover the landscapes are pretty nice (I wouldn't say photogenic, landscapes are always so).

I think those videos are great initiatives, don't you?

Lindsey Stirling is amazing.

She has made lots of music videos for other games and cool stuff such as a Legend of Zelda medley and Game of Thrones intro. And not only does she have great music herself, I found out about a ton of awesome bands via her Pandora radio station :)

Actually, it the mix of Morrowind and Skyrim themes. As video's title says. But it is a good piece anyway -- maybe because Bethsoft composer likes strings and writes all pieces to be playable with them :)
