Title: ufoai-2.0-RC5-win32.exe tutorial bug
Post by: Vector_Matt on October 23, 2006, 04:57:36 pm
In the tutorial, it says there is an option to have the tactical missions done automaticly when the dropship arives at the target, however, there is no such option in-game.

Auto-Mission is disabled for "story-related" missions.

The idea is so that players can save some time later in the game,
when bases, soldiers, equipment etc. are established well enough,
and lots of ufos get shot down.

Ahhh... that would explain it. Pesky aliens keep landing unnoticed. Mabey the tutorial could have a line or two added that explains this? After all, it's usualy people who haven't played long who view the tutorials, and the option in question is not available early on.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Maybe the dialog-box could show the "Auto-Mission"-button as disabled,
and a message about it in the tooltip.
