Title: Alien wallhacking in 2.4?

Do aliens still have a see-through-walls ability in 2.4?

I've noticed in 2.3 that they do have wallhack --- they would fire at a wall if a soldier is behind the barrier.

AFAIK aliens know where your troops are all the time. It's probably bug with their firing logic that they ignore some obstacles, like UFO walls :D

Some races have IR sight, it's not a "hack".

Awesome. Looking forward to species that don't have IR sight; awfully curious on how they will react to troops that camp.

EDIT: I just confirmed this. An ortnok knelt in ambush even with two troopers approaching his position several meters away. I haven't seen this behavior w tamans.

Still noticing a LOT of aliens trying to fire through walls. This is irrelevant if this has been fixed in 2.4 of course.
