Title: Limit of 64 aircraft

there seems to be a limit of 64 aircraft (a lot I know)
but adding new aircraft seems to remove ones off the end of list
is this a known problem?

Yes there is a limit, no it was unknown. Please open a ticket for it on our Bug Tracker (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=157793) with your savegame and ufoconsole.log attached.
