Title: SVN-3530: armored aliens on first mission

On the very first mission (farm), I spotted an armored alien.

That is a nice looking outfit, but shouldn't the first mission
be somewhat easier as an introduction ?

You were just unlucky. Anyway, it's the weakest alien armor. When you play your 200th game and so 200th farm mission you'll enjoy the little differences.
