Title: Turkish translation
Post by: alpersen on September 13, 2010, 01:49:39 pm
Hi to all,

I recently started Turkish translation. As the page ( http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Translating ) suggests I'm re translating English translation to Turkish.
Is it possible to create an entry for Turkish language in available translations page ( http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Available_translations ).
Also for Turkish a member seems to be assigned ( http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Contributors -> http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/User:Ihsan) but I can not find a way to contact him ( http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/User:Ihsan page does not offer a way to contct him even thoug I logged in as a user).
Also I may be listed as a contact for Turkish language.

Thanks for taking time for reading&helping on this issue.

use the talk page to contact him

and feel free to edit the language list on your own - we need the turkish po file to show the translation progress bar.

I think by using English ufoai.po there is no way to actually get current progress.
Maybe I should switch to .pot file and copy current translated part to new .po in order to get actual progress (currently even I dont know how much I ve done :) ).

Also if possible may you please add Turkish language for msgids?

http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/List_of_msgid

So I may translate on wiki and then integrate in .po?

Also now I will send current progress of my Turkish translation to patch tracker.
