Is it just me ?
-
it works here - can you post a backtrace or more info?

/offtopic on
Hey, Duke, I know that you know already that 'Every OS sucks', but I really hope you know which one sucks most... ;)
No offense ;)

Sending nice Greetinx & I hope it will work again for you soon !!!
-
Does it hang while loading the battlefield ?
-
Nevermind, if it's just me, it's probably some leftover code from some experiment of mine.
I don't have pure trunk, so let me cleanup first...
-
Cleaning up surely helps ;)
It works again here.
-
Now it's me, Duke :D
???
::)
:-\
:P

:'(

Happy cleaning up ;)
-
Unfortunately not even a fresh checkout nor clean mapcompile did help me...
& I found out that I am not alone...
Last version tested: r30927.
Can you start the battlescape under Windows with actual trunk version, Duke ?
-
I'll try...
Updating svn ...
-
Thanx.
-
r30928 works here.
(didn't compile the maps yet).
-
Okay, thanks for helping...
That means it is not Windows-specific.
-
FYI.
Now we know more:
Quote from Muton:
I think the cb project file is missing something
or whatever
../../src/client/menu/m_sound.c/h
has been added lately .....
Edit:
Its a 32bit problem
No problem on XPx64
but no run under XPx32
Quote end.
It seems we need 64bit to run UFO:AI :D ;) :P
-
Do not know why & how exactly, but I got it running again (Will backup this version ;))
Thanks again, Duke, for helping...
-
You're welcome :)
@All: This is a perfect example how doing almost nothing (ie. disconfirming) can help somebody else.
