Title: The Final Outcome of the Storyline

Hi All,

I was wondering what the final outcome of the game is.  I'm building bases and research etc. to what end, to just keep shooting down UFO and protecting cities. I can't work out from the story line if there there is a final big mission to aim for.  For example, part of the story line evolves around the alien ships just appearing in our sola system.  Does this mean then that with the right technology, we would eventually travel to the aliens home world for a final big kick ass mision?

Switch to the 2.3 dev version. Installers are available from the Windows forum. The 2.2.1 version does not end ever, you just reach a point where it stops going forward. It's obsolete in all respects.

2.3 does end, though it sort of ends in the middle of the story. The full story won't be done for a long time yet.

I'm a Mac version of 2.3 without having to complie from source.
