Title: Doing it wrong?

I downloaded the game for mac a while ago, but only recently started playing it. I've been working through single player, but now I've reached a point where I don't know what to do. There's nothing new to research, no ufos are really showing up anymore, and the XVI is just slowly ticking up... Am I missing something? Or is there a new version out I should download? (currently running 2.2.1)

EDIT: Now I'm also getting these black screens where this "todo: invasion sequence" pops up every time I win a mission. What does that mean?

if i remember correctly, an ultra big ufo appeared some time after those unwritten messages in the current latest stable release.
it was a few years ago that i played it, so i might remember it wrong.
only after the big ufo it seemed that there was truly nothing happening.

2.3 is the lastest verson, so yeah, your not up2date.

in 2.2, the game ends at some point, mainly because you've won the game.
