Post by: Legendman3 on April 24, 2010, 02:21:53 pm
Here's the game. Pick one person(try to make it a famous person) who died the day you were born. It can be anyone.

Mine is--Pope Innocent III

Look on wikipedia for someone thats how i got mine.

Does it need to be the same year you were born too?

My birthday is the day after the Queen's real birthday, the day before st George's day, two days after Hitler's birthday and it is Earth day. Two Popes have died on my birthday and one Roman Emperor all within the first millennium. I also share a birthday with the man who said "I am become death, destroyer of worlds": Robert Oppenheimer, of A-Bomb fame.

I don't want to play any more...

Well, Approximately 150,317 people died worldwide on November 24, 1994, the date when I was born.

Gee, I Wonder why can I hear the song 'Angel Of Death' now?

18th July seems like quite boring day for deaths, most interesting is probably some gangster called Machine Gun Kelly.

Funny thing tho, he was also born on 18th July.

That was the only post that answer my game correctly. Why is it that my off-topic things always go horribly wrong

It's just the nature of the beast that is Off-Topic, I suppose.

Incidentally, my personal favorite of the list is Alfred Nobel, since the prize is also awarded on that day.  No one famous actually died that year, though (according to Wiki).

Incidentally, Happy Malaria Awareness Day, everyone!
