Hey I'm fairly along in my 2.3 campaign. Finished it actually by beating an alien mission but I wasn't done having fun so back to save game. I've researched the heracles transport and when I load into the crashed harvester desert map with no buildings just 2 sand dunes, 2 of my soldiers are automatically loaded onto the roof with no way to get down to ground level. Anyone else have this problem? I realize that the odds of people having it are quite remote. But I do like the 2 new transports. Can't wait for UVGs to get into the action. I hate sending troops around a corner knowing aliens are waiting :( . The bug is definitely repeatable on the harvester crashed desert map but doesn't appear on the other maps I tested with the heracles dropship.

Right next to the place where you find the ufoconsole.log. Depends on your OS.
There must be some wiki article about that.

If you're on Windows, they are in your APPDATA folder, which by default is hidden (you would need to go to "folder options" and enable viewing of hidden folders) under "documents and settings" then your login user name, although in my experience it can be in slightly different places depending on what version of Windows.
On Linux, I forget. (Sorry.)
If you have a Mac, you'll have to look in the wiki or in the Mac installer thread (IIRC there was discussion on exactly where the files should be placed, and I think it was changed at some point).

yes, looks like the starting positions are onto the actorclips - it would be nice if you could open a bug tracker ticket so nate or me won't forget to fix it.
