Yes.
I remember tuning my amiga 500 with a ultra-expensive 20 MB (!) harddisk & I also had not only the standard 3 1/2 floppy, but also a extern 5 1/4 drive, because those disks were much cheaper ;) (880KB/Disk (DoubleDensity))
But I also remember the C64, which had just a tapedeck (!) @ the beginning storing the data on normal audio tapes & I also remember buying the original 'The Last Ninja' on tape & having to wait some 15 minutes or so until the next level loaded...
Then some cracks programmed speedloader for that tapedeck  :D...

Oh man, I did not try Linux (yet), but after this song I am not sure if I ever will, good track with a great text, he hits the nail on the head exactly with his opinions on MacOS & Windoof 4 sure...
Maybe I will play this every morning to remind me of how great the good ol' times were before everything was about stocks & capital performance, investments & money...

I was ubergeek for a week after snarfing up a 1200 baud modem for my Commodore 128 *AND* a brace of 1571 external 5 1/4" drives.  No more disk swaps for this kid, no sirree.  For those that don't know, though, the C= 128 turned out to be the red-headed stepchild of the C= line.  All the kewl developers jumped from the C64 to the Amiga and just totally blew off the 128.  It could do C64 programs so who cared?  With the Amiga we can do umptymillion colors, WOOHOO!
