Post by: GIJOE317 on February 15, 2010, 09:22:24 pm
Aliens getting stuck in walls, rocks, landing gear.
They seem to res into them when the game loads.
I cannot kill them when they are there, but can see them.

Which version are you playing? Haven't found stuck aliens for a long time.

Hi,

I have also seen this on the stable 2.2.1 build.

For example bloodspiders getting stuck in desks etc.

Also, on a mission were the aliens are infection civilians with XVI, the one with the big UFO with 3 entrances on either side, some troops get stuck going back down the entrance ramps after entering and trying to leave again.

Hi,

Well I am currently in the process of building the 2.3r28625 from the SVN as I type.

I will look out for the same problems when complete and testing.

Hi,

@ GIJOE317,

This (http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php?topic=3843.0) link offers a tool/script to download the latest SVN/Development release, and perform all build process etc, just make sure to follow any and all instructions, and note that the game probably will be buggy, and also save games cannot be carried over from any previous 2.2 releases etc.

This (http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php?topic=2830.0) link offers builds already pre-made, but not the most recent as they are built and uploaded my a member, and as such it takes time to download the +500MB source and content, then build, then compress to installer and then upload etc.
