Title: Progress last year?

Me and my friends hyped this game last xmas. Enjoyed playing a lot, but the game never reached further than some level with an unfinished farming ship. My question is - has the developement reached a stage where I will be able to "finish" the game?

2.3-dev has an end - but the storyline is still not fully implemented.
