Hello all
I've downloaded the techdemo2beta, and installed it.
But, when I try to launch it, a window open first in full screen, flash between the desktop and this window, and finaly go to a not responding window ...
there it take more and more memory, and ... crash after several minutes.
No error message :S
So, I can't test this techdemo ... the first was really fun, and I was happy to see that there is a new techdemo :)
System : Windows XP SP2
PC : Athlon XP2400+, 512 DDR, ATI Radeon 9800

do you use the windows-installer? strange - not heard about this problem before... can you give us more infos? do you have a debugger installed? see the visual studio .net thread if not...

I've first downloaded the installer here (http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ufoai/ufoai_0.12beta_installer.exe) (OVH, Paris, France) but the file was corrupt...
So, I tried the one on Switch(Lausanne, Switzerland) ... something strange : no icon for this windows installer... but it seems to work.
Actually, to answer you, I used the window installer.
I have also a debugger installed (VisualStudio .NET 2005) (http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ufoai/ufoai_0.12beta_installer.exe)

can you give us some debugging output?

Where can I find the link to download the sources of the projetc?

is there a way to grab it without using a control version source tool?
( I don't want (don't have the time) to read a ton of doc in english (french user ^^) just to have a chance getting the sources <_< )

There doesn't exist a source-tarball (yet?), so i think the only way to get it right now is over the svn rep.
If you have a subversion client all you need to do is:
svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ufoai/trunk trunk

I noticed there is the sources with the windows installer ... I guess they are the good one.
The only problem I had yesterday is that I didn't install the C componant of Visual Studio ^^, so, it'll wait the week end...
