It took me about 24 hours but I was finally able to compile 2.2.1 on my Tiger machine using MacPorts.    I am seriously impressed with what you guys have done with the q2 engine!     I'd love to help out in any way, I took a look at the wiki but I'm not really very graphically inclined.   Is there anything else I can do to lend a hand?

Translating and mapping are two areas that are usually easy to start with.
