On several missions, upon storming the alien stronghold, I find dead alien bodies even before I fire at them. I thought this was some bug. Then on another map, I actually see aliens firing on one another. AI problem?

It seems the aliens are angry about something currently, I get those messages in the terminal pretty much every mission I think. Possibly the low pay and survival rates, mutiny! :P

Terminal is a command line window. Running the game from command line (and not full screen mode) gives you the advantage that you can see the latest console messages and the game at the same time. :)

Let's be serious now. This is a bug that hinders playability, so I hope someone has taken note.

That it is, my lack of seriousness aside, as I said, seems to happen every mission without fail.

Obviously there's something wrong with the morale code.

It's good to know that they're 'consumed' with rage of the 'mad' variety. :P

I also found this "fratricide bug" when playing in the military installation map in version 2.2.1. I found a group of already death aliens there). Then I understood why the base soldiers tend to block my squad in the doors when trying to go through the corridors: They're just trying to save us! They're saving time while the aliens kill themselves! ;D

I could actually watch the aliens shoot each other. Quite the spectacle.

I played rev 20172 yesterday and had one dead alien that I didn't kill :(
Worse than that, I didn't let me finish the mission. Did anyone elese have this problem ?

playing with last cpompiled win ver from Destructavator and had no alien fracticide but sometimes aliens get stuck somewhere (wrack pieces) or hide where you cant reach due stairs not work.

Yeah, the last installer I uploaded is a bit out-of-date, some fixes and changes have happened since then.
I actually just tried to upload a new one over last night, but the upload failed from some glitch that sometimes happens - usually I wake up and check my computer and it is up there, but once in a while it isn't.
I'll try again tonight.
