After being hit by a wave of nostalgia, I decided to download some old XCOM games.  None of em work on Vista.  Vista sucks, I know...

Then I found this little gem, and had a good few hours of enjoyment out of it.  But I hear from some talk on these forums that I have an outdated version.  2.2.1 

I had a looksee on the mainsite for a download for an update.  Couldn't find much other than what I have already.  And most links are... dead. 
Just a helping hand to point me in the right direction is all I need.

2.2.1 is the latest stable. And yes, it's old. If you want a newer version look for 2.3-dev test builds, or compile from SVN.

Did a search on 2.3-dev test builds.  Results show my own thread I made two mins ago O.o

Though what is this SVN? 

Sorry but I aint that computer literate and only just downloaded this game a couple of hours ago so i'm not to fluent with it's terminology.

If you're interested in learning how to get and use the development version, go to the wiki. It's all explained there.

Keep on eye on the thread titled "Win32 Development Binary Installer Links."  In fact, tonight I'll be trying to package a relatively stable build and hopefully upload it before this weekend.
