Hello, I m from German and my English isn t very good but here my Problem.
I Have a Second Base
I transfered a Fighter to this Second Base
There is a Ufo in Radar Range of the Second Base and i coudn t launch this Fighter from the Second Base.
When i click on the Ufo i can only launch Fighters from my Main Base!
I Can launch this Fighter in the Second Base manually, but i cant target the ufo...
I Play since 6 Hours and i have this Problem from the Moment i tried to launch a Fighter from the Second Base.
It must be a Bug!

you can't use ufos to fight ufos
but you can research stuff from ufos and equip ufo features to your aircraft

Sorry, but my problem is that i can not fight with my interceptor against a UFO.
this interceptor is at the second Base, the game will launch only fighters from the first Base!
But the Ufo is not in Range of the Fighters from the first Base.
In my first Message is a Savegame with the Situation that i have.

I know it is not a satisfying solution, but...maybe transfer the darn thing back (appears to be attached to the nest) and buy new ones?

I just tried your savegame, and it seems to work fine. Don't forget to equip your interceptor with weapons (aircraft weapons are not transfered with aircraft)

i see on my Screenshot, that my interceptor has >>no Weapons!<<
I thaught that when i transfer the Aircraft, that the Weapons remain in the Aircraft.
I test it later if it was the reason why i can not launch the Aircraft!
Question 2:
I can launch Interceptor Aircrafts without an Pilot to fight against UFOs... is there a negative effect? Well has the Pilot skills effect on the Dogfight?
This Question is not very important, but it has effects on Game Strategy in higher difficulty.

I believe I read in one of the earlier threads that pilots are not implemented at this point and not having one does not affect fighter's performance.

Yes, pilots are not implemented. At the moment, it's useless to have a soldier in a interceptor. (unless you want him to die if the aircraft is destroyed ;) )

It Works! No bug! Only no Weapons after Aircraft transfer...
