Title: Idle hands

I was being nostalgic (http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php?topic=2504.0), and I remember something. I used to crank out Alien Alloys in the first X-Com game like there was no tomorrow to complement my income.

Can it be coded in UFO:AI that idle workshops generate cash, or do will I have to micro-manage it?0

Workshops shouldn't generate cash in any way. They're small, specialized workshops. The cost to produce something should always be higer than the price you get for selling it, so you can't run a profit on them.
