Hi,

I installed UFO but it's so slow.
I have a Toshiba A110 laptop with 1GB ram and Ubuntu 7.04 installed.
The graphics card is Intel 945GM

On windows I can play race games with good framerate
I didn't try to install another game yet.

I configured the game with the lowest resolution and details, but the mouse pointer is still very slow and unpleasant to use...

Is it normal because it's a laptop?

which version are you using?

it's version 2.0 RC5 sept 2006
I downloaded it on ubuntugames.org

That's quite an old version. You can try getting version 2.1.1 off soureforge, a 2.2 test installer, or just checkout the source from SVN and compile it yourself.
