Title: Ads on the forum/homepage

Is there a reason to keep the popup ads and embedded ads on the homepage and the forum?
They are a tiny bit annoying and it really doesn't  look good to present such things to new visitors if there is no need.

At least the popup ads should go IMHO.

I'm told the myexp.de host enforces the ads on its hosted websites. I don't get popups, though. I think my browser blocks them.

Ok, then my proposal is 'simply' (if it is that simple .. and possible) to move all the content to sourceforge and make the myexp site a redirect.;)

My browser (Firefox with Adblock-Plus) block them as well (most of them that is since some may be flash-driven) ... which is not my point anyway since we are not the only persons visiting the page.

Actually, Sourceforge is prone to a lot of downtime. I don't think using it as a host is such a good idea.
