Title: version 0.9.2 is available for windows ?

I am directed to a lunix website, does that mean that the window version is not yet released ? or can i download the game directly from the linux sever ?

No, there are Windows versions available also. Latest stable is 2.1.1. Get it from sourceforge (you can find a link on the main page: http://ufoai.ninex.info/?page=Downloads)

There is also a test installer for the (work-in-progress) 2.2 version. Get it here:

You are probably confused by latest news about live CD. 0.9.2 is version of linux live cd where UFO: AI is included. It's not UFO: AI version.
